Below are a few examples of projects I've worked on.
-
TweetAtCongress.comTweetAtCongress is an API that I created which provides information about Congress members on Twitter. -
Fur-Free TexasI designed and built the Web site for Fur-Free Texas, a campaign aimed at convincing Texas-based retailers to stop selling products made of fur. -
YESSERA: AIR-Austin 2008Along with a team of colleagues, I redesigned YESSERA.org for a local non-profit as part of the Accessibility Internet Rally in Austin (AIR-Austin), an 8-hour code-a-thon focused on accessibility standards. The site won third place in the competition. -
TwitStream: jQuery, AJAX, and the Twitter Search APII used the jQuery Javascript library and the Twitter Search API to create TwitStream, a plugin that gives Web site owners a simple way to display recent tweets on a specific keyword or hashtag.
TwitStream is mentioned in an article on SitePoint. -
YTPlayer: A SWF proxy for embedding YouTube on secure Web pagesCurrently YouTube doesn't offer an option of embedding its videos via https, so I created a SWF that acts as a proxy between a secure page and YouTube to prevent browser security warnings.
(An example can be seen on peta2's "Whose Skin Are You In?" Web site.)
